August skiing: Timp snowfield

The quest for year-round skiing in Utah continues with an August jaunt to Timp
Nice place for a nap

Still plenty of snow due to a good snow season and a cool summer.

We watched a little girl slip and tumble down the snowfield for a few hundred feet. Looked intense

Dan's pond skimming attempt

A little trip to Bear Lake on the 14th-15th for a ward campout. A cold front moved through with soaking rain and snow above 10,000 ft! So much for wakeboarding. We tried to check out Minitonka Cave but there was a 4 hour wait so we just chowed down at Merlin's burger pit.

The lake was quite chilly
