Strawberry: Haws Point

Used #4 egg sucking leach for attractor trailed by #8 peacock bugger which caught all the fish
As expected, I hooked most fish at the ice edge
This one gave me an excellent fight!
crawfish-underwater shot
All the bays are clear of ice now but the main body is still capped
rednecks
Never seen the water so clear at the Berry. Sight fishing was really fun, like bone fishing but much colder.
The fish fought well considering the water temp was only 38 degrees. Solid takes, none of the short striking business. Hooked 8 and landed 6. Fished for 2 hours from 8:30 to 10:30. There was a large snowdrift blocking the haws point road at the turnoff so I had to do the 15 minute walk in.
